{"id":1257,"date":"2015-08-05T21:30:16","date_gmt":"2015-08-05T21:30:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jayhobgood.com\/?p=1257"},"modified":"2015-08-05T21:30:16","modified_gmt":"2015-08-05T21:30:16","slug":"guillermo-weakening-tropical-storm-watch-discontinued","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jayhobgood.com\/?p=1257","title":{"rendered":"Guillermo Weakening, Tropical Storm Watch Discontinued"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tropical Storm Guillermo weakened further and the Tropical Storm Watch for portions of Hawaii was discontinued.\u00a0 At 5:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday the center of Tropical Storm Guillermo was located at latitude 21.4\u00b0N and longitude 151.7\u00b0W which put it about 250 miles (400 km) east-northeast of Hilo, Hawaii and about 400 miles (640 km) east of Honolulu.\u00a0 Guillermo was moving toward the west-northwest at 9 m.p.h. (13 km\/h).\u00a0 The maximum sustained wind speed was 60 m.p.h. (95 km\/h) and there were wind gusts to 70 m.p.h.
