{"id":1742,"date":"2015-10-12T03:38:32","date_gmt":"2015-10-12T03:38:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jayhobgood.com\/?p=1742"},"modified":"2015-10-12T03:38:32","modified_gmt":"2015-10-12T03:38:32","slug":"tropical-storm-nora-moves-into-the-central-pacific","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jayhobgood.com\/?p=1742","title":{"rendered":"Tropical Storm Nora Moves Into the Central Pacific"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tropical Storm Nora moved west of longitude 140\u00b0W on Sunday which meant that it officially crossed from the Eastern North Pacific into the Central North Pacific Ocean.\u00a0 At 11:00 p.m. EDT on Sunday the center of Tropical Storm Nora was located at latitude 13.5\u00b0N and longitude 143.8\u00b0W which put it about 860 miles (1385 km) east-southeast of Hilo, Hawaii.\u00a0 Nora was moving toward the west-northwest at 9 m.p.h. (15 km\/h).\u00a0 The maximum sustained wind speed was 70 m.p.h. (110 km\/h) and there were wind gusts to 85 m.p.h.
