{"id":1908,"date":"2015-11-10T03:31:04","date_gmt":"2015-11-10T03:31:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jayhobgood.com\/?p=1908"},"modified":"2015-11-10T03:48:38","modified_gmt":"2015-11-10T03:48:38","slug":"weaker-tropical-cyclone-megh-close-to-landfall-in-yemen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jayhobgood.com\/?p=1908","title":{"rendered":"Weaker Tropical Cyclone Megh Close to Landfall in Yemen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Drier air from the Arabian peninsula finally entered the circulation of Tropical Cyclone Megh and most of the convection weakened on Monday.\u00a0 At 10:00 p.m. EDT on Monday the center of Tropical Cyclone Megh was located at latitude 13.0\u00b0N and longitude 47.0\u00b0E which put it about 150 miles (240 km) east of Aden (Adan), Yemen.\u00a0 Megh was moving toward the west-northwest at 15 m.p.h. (24 km\/h).\u00a0 The maximum sustained wind speed was 50 m.p.h. (80 km\/h) and there were wind gusts to 65 m.p.h.
