(5 km\/h).\u00a0 The maximum sustained wind speed was 45 m.p.h. (75 km\/h) and there were wind gusts to 60 m.p.h. (95 km\/h).\u00a0 The minimum surface pressure was 996 mb.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">A Tropical Storm Warning was in effect for the portion of the coast from Punta Maldonado to Manzanillo, Mexico.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The center of Tropical Storm John moved back over the west coast of Mexico between Lazaro Cardenas and Manzanillo on Friday afternoon.\u00a0 The maximum sustained wind speed in Tropical Storm John at the time of landfall was 60 m.p.h.
