{"id":25511,"date":"2026-10-11T02:52:22","date_gmt":"2026-10-11T02:52:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jayhobgood.com\/?p=25511"},"modified":"2026-10-11T02:52:22","modified_gmt":"2026-10-11T02:52:22","slug":"typhoon-koguma-spins-east-of-iwo-to","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jayhobgood.com\/?p=25511","title":{"rendered":"Typhoon Koguma Spins East of Iwo To"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Typhoon Koguma was spinning over the Western North Pacific Ocean east of Iwo To on Saturday night.\u00a0 At 11:00 p.m. EDT on Saturday the center of Typhoon Koguma was located at latitude 24.9\u00b0N and longitude 148.0\u00b0E which put the center about 435 miles (700 km) east of Iwo To.\u00a0 Koguma was moving toward the northwest at 11 m.p.h. (17 km\/h).\u00a0 The maximum sustained wind speed was 130 m.p.h. (210 km\/h) and there were wind gusts to 160 m.p.h.
