{"id":3438,"date":"2016-11-25T04:45:20","date_gmt":"2016-11-25T04:45:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jayhobgood.com\/?p=3438"},"modified":"2016-11-25T04:45:20","modified_gmt":"2016-11-25T04:45:20","slug":"tropical-storm-otto-crosses-into-the-eastern-north-pacific-ocean","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jayhobgood.com\/?p=3438","title":{"rendered":"Tropical Storm Otto Crosses Into the Eastern North Pacific Ocean"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tropical Storm Otto moved steadily along the border between Nicaragua and Costa Rica and crossed into the eastern North Pacific Ocean on Thursday night.\u00a0 At 10:00 p.m. EST on Thursday the center of Tropical Storm Otto was located at latitude 10.9\u00b0N and longitude 85.6\u00b0W which put it about 20 miles (30 km) north of Liberia, Costa Rica.\u00a0 Otto was moving toward the west at 13 m.p.h. (20 km\/h).\u00a0 The maximum sustained wind speed was 70 m.p.h. (110 km\/h) and there were wind gusts to 85 m.p.h.
