{"id":9170,"date":"2020-01-18T22:23:59","date_gmt":"2020-01-18T22:23:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jayhobgood.com\/?p=9170"},"modified":"2020-01-19T00:58:51","modified_gmt":"2020-01-19T00:58:51","slug":"tropical-cyclone-tino-blows-across-tonga","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jayhobgood.com\/?p=9170","title":{"rendered":"Tropical Cyclone Tino Speeds Across Tonga"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tropical Cyclone Tino sped quickly across Tonga on Saturday.\u00a0 The core of Tino passed northeast of Nuku Alofa and the most populated island of Tonga.\u00a0 At 4:00 p.m. EST on Saturday the center of Tropical Cyclone Tino was located at latitude 24.0\u00b0S and longitude 170.6\u00b0E which put it about 370 miles (595 km) east-southeast of Nuku Alofa, Tonga.\u00a0 Tino was moving toward the southeast at 26 m.p.h. (42 km\/h).\u00a0 The maximum sustained wind speed was 70 m.p.h. (110 km\/h) and there were wind gusts to 85 m.p.h.
